I am Carolyn Heidenreich, founder and principal at Adelaide Remedial

I was a  Secondary School Teacher for 15 years when I discovered the benefits of Remedial massage personally.  It has helped me cope with some major tragedies in life such as losing a husband to cancer, managing as a single mum as well as my own physical health concerns.

Back in  2003, and having come to the career crossroads that many of us face, I decided that massage is my direction and passion.

My desire is to help people affect change in their life, whether it is coping with stress, depression, physical pain or reduced movement.

 

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Education (secondary)

Diploma of Remedial Massage at South Australian Health Education College

 

I have also undertaken further study in the areas of Pregnancy massage, aromatherapy, and courses to treat specific injuries and pain areas such as shoulders and necks.

In 2007, I was also requested as an Official Massage Therapist to the World Police & Firearm Games, an event equal to and often larger the the Commonwealth Games; an amazing experience!

I am a member of the ATMS, the peak professional body representing complimentary therapists in Australia.  This enables you where applicable to claim private health rebates for my services.
